Setting theme in Edge Browser

Browser Themes

Gang!

Browser themes… I’ve always liked a dark color theme on my computers and phone. This this bit of functionality in the mobile platforms for a while. I’ve been wanting to add themes to the browser application for some time. I finally completed an update that changes themes based on what the user selects in the appearances settings of the browser.

This post will cover the following points:

Dark Mode

This theme is set by reading what the user has set the browser theme to be.

Unfiltered Search Engine. Dark Theme

Light Theme

This has been tested on Edge, by Microsoft, and Safari, by Apple, browsers.

Unfiltered Search Engine. Light Theme

That’s a wrap!

That’s it… Quick and simple today. This post should show up how easy it is to flip browser theme to change to daylight conditions or to how you have the rest of your visuals configured. I have the rest my desktop configured for a dark theme. So I really like this update.

Happy searching with the Unfiltered Search Engine!
